2016 is the 10th year of the DGA “Steady” Ed Tour. Over 1,600 unique competitors will experience the best events on the west coast while competing for close to $100,000 dollars in cash and prizes. All tour stops embody the great vision that “Steady” Ed had for Disc Golf. These events give a great chance to compete against some of the best disc golfers in a fun and inviting atmosphere. “Steady” Ed would have enjoyed playing these events and would have been proud to attach his name to every single one of them. DGA thanks you for your continued support of the tour and looks forward to seeing you out there on the course!
Each event has its own cash and prize payouts. Competitors who compete in a “Steady” Ed tour event gain points in the series long point totals. Players gain more points by playing and finishing in each tour event. Participate in as many events as you can, play consistent, and increase your chance at winning your division for the “Steady” Ed Tour point totals. 2016 will have 11 division champions and each division champion will receive a prize. The top division prizes include paid entry fees to the 2017 Pro World Championships, 2017 Amateur World Championships, 2017 US Masters, and the 2017 Masters Cup. The 2016 “Steady” Ed Tour Points below are updated once the previous events’ points are listed as “Official” on the PDGA website. Players receive one point for every competitor in their respective division that they beat in the “Steady” Ed Tour event.
There is a Bonus Structure in place as well for the “Steady” Ed Tour points. Players will begin receiving bonus points once they have competed in their third “Steady” Ed Tour event. Players will receive 10 bonus points for attending 3 events, 20 bonus points for attending 4 events, 30 bonus points for attending 5 events, and so forth.
