Description

The Mach Shift 3-in-1 Portable Practice Basket is an advanced and innovative lightweight all-metal disc golf basket that has three different catching positions: Standard Shift, Advanced Shift, and Pro Shift. Standard Shift Position: Standard catching area with two rows of chain. Advanced Shift Position: All chains hang from the center 12″ inner chain holder and the outer chain holder is removed. Pro Shift Position: For an added challenge the outer chain holder is removed like the Advanced Position and the chain assembly lowers using the telescoping pole with quick release lock to adjust the position. The Mach Shift comes with a high-quality gunmetal grey powder coated portable base, lower pole section, trapper basket and outer chain holder assembly. The upper retracting pole is weather resistant silver zinc coated and the top inner chain holder band has a durable powder coated finish available either in blue or white. DGA is shifting the way you practice disc golf. If you’re looking for a practice basket that can do it all, the Mach Shift 3-in-1 Portable Practice Basket is the right choice.

Standard Shift Position

In this position, the Mach Shift is assembled with a conventional catching area with two rows of chain. This is perfect for emulating the catching zone you will find at your local course.

Advanced Shift Position

In this position, all chain is moved to the 12” diameter inner chain holder ring and the outer chain holder is removed. This narrows the catching area and allows you to tighten your focus on the chain.

Pro Shift Position

For an added challenge, the chain catching area can be reduced even further from the Advanced Position by lowering the telescoping pole. By loosening the quick release lock, the pole can easily be adjusted.

Will the In-ground Conversion kit work with the Mach Shift Basket? Matthew Davis asked on April 10, 2023

Hi, thanks for your questions.
The in-ground Conversion Kit is for our heavy-duty outdoor Mach baskets, Mach 2, 5, 7, and X. The Mach 2, 5, 7 and X baskets have larger diameter pipe and are hot-dipped galvanized to withstand extended outdoor weather. The Mach Shift has a durable zinc and powder-coating finish but is not suitable for permanent outdoor mounting.
