A very quick, short update to say that I managed to have just enough time between conference activities, a storm, and the sunset this afternoon to sneak in one more eighteen-hole course here in Grand Rapids, Michigan: Old Farm Park. It was on my list of courses to play when I was here last Summer, as a part of our Disc Golf Foundation Board meetings. But with JUST enough time to “Run-a-Round” (copyright: Alan Hansen Begg) after my conference activities were finished, I was able to get that course played. I played it well, to the tune of a -9 (45). And not five minutes after I got in the car and headed back toward my hotel, the skies opened up and it rained. And rained. And rained.
Nice to sneak one more course in after work today, when I knew it might be tough for me to get back over here to play it! Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. And today, luck was on my side.

A main purpose of this blog will be to share information, helpful tips and tricks (everything from health and fitness to methods for saving money while you’re out “bagging courses” of your own), and ideas for better, safer course design.
