Shasta Criss was able to start things off right and secure the Win in his first event of the year in the MP40 field at the Wintertime Open A-Tier.  This event was held for the 41st time at the first ever disc golf course, Oak Grove, in Pasadena, CA.  Josh Castle was able to bring home some cash from the event as well, finishing in a respectable 21st place in a very heavy MPO field.

New 2019 addition and local junior phenom, Ezra Hapner, had a good showing at the Otter Open here in Marina, CA.  Ezra was able to battle some very windy and rainy conditions to come back and finish the weekend in 2nd place in the MA1 field.  DGA looks forward to seeing what this kid can do this season and beyond!  Team member, AJ Wecker, was the man behind the curtains for this event as he was the official TD of the Otter Open.  AJ does a great job representing DGA through his local club and by having a hand in several events here on the coast!

Next we head to the South where Ben Llena averaged well over his rating for 3 rounds to grab last cash in MPO at the Hilton Head Invitational in South Carolina.

Bryson James played in the Lula Classic in Georgia where he was able to put up a 1024 rated final round to secure a 4th place finish in MPO.

Rounding out the lineup for this weekend we had Craig “Krash” Gustafson and Dandridge Marsh battling it out competing against each other.  They both played in the MP40 field at the Deuces Wild Doubles event in Stockton, CA while taking 1st and 2nd respectively.
