DGA is proud to announce that it is making history this week by adding the Daisy Chains Women’s Disc Golf Tournament onto the 2017 “Steady” Ed Tour. DGA is excited to announce that it is the title sponsor for this year’s event and believes that this event aligns with “Steady” Ed’s vision of disc golf. This is the first time in “Steady” Ed Tour history that there will be a women’s only event on the tour schedule, and DGA is looking forward to the potential of adding more events as well.
On May 13th – 14th the top women disc golfers from around the world will converge on the world championship Pinto Lake Disc Golf Course to compete in the Daisy Chains Women’s Disc Golf Tournament. The event is also a part of the Poppy Series, which is a popular California based women’s disc golf series that runs throughout the calendar year.
DGA is excited to partner with the Daisy Chains tournament in an effort to increase outreach and exposure of women’s disc golf. Adding the event onto the “Steady” Ed Tour felt like a natural fit and both parties are enthusiastic about the possibilities. DGA encourages all women who are available to sign up and take part in this epic event. You can check out more details on the “Steady” Ed Tour webpage. You can keep up to date with event info regarding this year’s tournament on the Daisy Chains Facebook page, or on the DGA Facebook page.
