Peter was not present at the drawing held at Bell's Brewery and wasn't attending the Worlds. He wanted one of the DGA limited run fundraiser Sparkle Rogues so badly he asked his friend to buy him one once he arrived at the host hotel. (Peter owes this friend big time!)

Since Peter wasn't present at the drawing, Scott Keasey from the DGA pulled out his cell phone and called him on the spot. He wasn't at home either (he was out playing a round of disc golf)! So we put him on speakerphone and left him the incredible news of his win on his voicemail with everyone in the crowd at Bell's Brewery yelling and cheering for him.

We want to thank Larry Bell and everyone at Bell's for providing us a great venue to hold the DGA Players Party and raffle drawing. Larry LaBond and the rest of the Worlds Crew are owed a huge thanks for all their support of this promotion and for running a great event.
Finally, we want to thank Charlie, Char and everyone else at Gotta Go Gotta Throw. They worked their tails off on this promotion.

shocked/ stunned an understatement ......couldn't sleep Tuesday night when I found out, like a kid at christmas!!!!

lots of thanks are in order .....although I don't want this to sound like an Oscar speech.

First, I'll thank Jeremy Gibbs. Several months ago, playing ypsi dubs with him as my partner @ EMU he was bombing his Player's Cup sparkle Rogue. Got me to go out and buy one online.

those rogues bomb!!! perfect distance turnover disc. Love this disc.....this led me to seek out more (I only buy discs to throw.... not much of a collector/wallhanger guy)..... saw that they were doing new worlds sparkle rogue as fund raisers....when I finally got around to thinking about getting one....the window of opportunity had closed to order it from Gotta go gotta throw ......therefore I decided to try to get one at worlds .....wasn't going to be able to make it out to K-zoo until later in the week. When Foz, my buddy, said he was going out there last weekend I quickly sent him with my wish list including a new rogue and a FLX drone. He gave me a call from the merch booth at the hotel to confirm my order. I was psyched to be getting that new plastic but I had no idea what was in store.... (boy do I owe Foz!!!)

played Ypsi dubs Tuesday evening (got my rogue from Foz) and had to leave before payouts.....my partner was going to call me when he got the results. Checked my messages after putting my kids to bed to see how we did.....couldn't believe it at first ....thought it was my buddies playing a prank!!

still can't believe it........Duno what I am going to do with those lovely baskets yet. Gonna pickup #18 on Saturday at timber ridge.

I don't have any land for a private course. Fielding offers/proposals currently .....being selfish I would like to put them in at a location as close to my home as possible to allow me and my family to enjoy them for years! but I am open to hearing anyone's ideas....
