“Steady” Ed Tour

The DGA “Steady” Ed Tour merges NorCal and SoCal disc golf to create the premier California disc golf tour. The series’ events bring top NorCal and top SoCal players together where they can go head to head with friends, other disc golfers from around the state and some of the best players in disc golf.

The “Steady” Ed Tour is made up of a series of independent tournaments known for their top-notch tournament directors who put on fun, safe and exciting events. Each year DGA and the “Steady” Ed Tour sponsors make the “Steady” Ed Tour the best attended tournament series in The Golden State.

2007 was the first year of the “Steady” Ed Tour and today over 800 competitors come out each year to share in the fun and excitement of these great events.

The “Steady” Ed Tour was conceived by DGA to embody the great vision of “Steady” Ed Headrick, the father of disc golf. The “Steady” Ed Tour offers a fun, challenging and inviting atmosphere where Amateur and Pro disc golfers alike come to play and test their skills and where recreational disc golf and tournament disc golf merge.

All participants in the tournaments that make up the series receive bountiful player packages and compete to be the overall points winner for their division. in addition to the individual tournament’s players packages and prizes each division’s overall points winner of the “Steady” Ed Tour receives an additional trophy or prize.
