Spectating the CO. State Championships, Oct. 13-14, 07 |

.jpg)  We decided to hang out and spectate the Colorado State Disc Golf Championships on Oct. 13-14 at Widefield Park DG Course. Sat. was the non-Pro classes and we were pretty impressed with the "skills", these players have! Even my best game so far would be bottom of the Recreational Class! Still it makes me want to try out a tournement anyway, although I totally feel sorry for the group that get's STUCK with ME!! We helped find discs that fell in the creek, which the park dept. folks made sure was runnin at full blast all weekend, DUH! On Sunday, the Pros were game'in and even with "cold, wet, windy conditions, these guys and gals, strutted their stuff, I couldn't imagine being able to throw a disc so far in the heavy wind, WOW! My camera died so if I can get it up and running again, I'll post of photo or two. We had a great time, it's too bad there wasn't more spectators, I think some of the pros like having "Disc Golf Groupies", LOL!!
