Freedom Park is closed for renovations

Freedom park closed on Sept. 2, 2008 for a complete renovation. The little league fields on the northeast side of the park will remain open, as well as the Carlos L. Martinez and Darrio J. Hall Family Pool at Freedom Park.
Construction is expected to last 18 months.

At this time, the Las Vegas Disc Golf Club is not involved with the Freedom Park redesign. If anyone wishes to spearhead this activity, including initiating discussions with the City of Las Vegas Leisure Department staff, please do so and let someone (i.e. Jeff or John R Ricker Jr know how others can help. Many club members are interested in expressing our support for the facility, but the project needs someone to lead them through this endeavor.

The course is planned to be redesigned as a 9 hole course, here's a PDF of the course layout. The file is 1.5M and it's setup as 42x30.
