Norwalk Beaches (Calf Pasture and Shady Beach)

Directions: Calf Pasture: I-95 Exit 16, South on East Avenue, past two traffic lights, under railroad bridge. Bear left after third traffic light to Cemetery Street; bear right onto Gregory Blvd. south to traffic circle. Bear left and follow Calf Pasture Beach Road to beach parking area.
Calf Pasture Beach will now be the site of a year-round restaurant.

Amenities: Calf Pasture: Lifeguards, Restrooms, Concessions, Sand Volleyball, Sailboat, Windsurf and Kayak Rentals, Picnic Areas and Skatepark coming this summer.


Cranbury Park
190 acres of public parkland. The park area includes pavilion, Playground, Outdoor restroom, 18 hole Frisbee Golf Course, Sculpture Garden.

Gallaher Estate
A beautiful Old English Stone Estate nestled within 190 acres of public parkland (Cranbury Park). The facility is open to residents and non-residents for parties, luncheons and weddings. Call the office for rental procedures and fees.

Veteran’s Park
Veteran's Park is a direct waterfront park located on Seaview Avenue. It is owned by the City of Norwalk and managed by the Recreation and Parks Department. The entire property consists of approximately 35 acres. Park amenities include, concession, visitors docks with full power available, launch ramps, visitors moorings, boating center, marina, various athletic venues, including basketball, little league, soccer, lacrosse, playground, walk esplanade at the tip of the park overlooking scenic Norwalk Harbor.

Veteran’s Park Marina
Open to residents and non-residents. The maximum boat size is 18’6”. Dinghy slips are also available for those with harbor moorings. For fees, services, rules and regulations contact the office.
