Women's Disc Golf Association
Women Play Too!!
WELCOME LADIES!
"Disc Golf is a sport, created in 1976, in which individual players (males and females) forcibly throw a hard plastic disc (approx 170 grams) into a huge metal basket from an average of 400 feet away. The objective is to walk a course from the first hole to the last hole while thrusting a hard plastic disc from the tee pad to the metal basket within 3 throws or less, usually in a group of 5 people. Disc golf is similar to traditional ball golf and uses much of the same rules and terminology. As in a ball golf course, a disc golf course usually consists of 18 holes (tee-pads and baskets). However, unlike ball golf, - most disc golf courses are located in public parks and are 'free' to play. Also, disc golf only requires inexpensive discs instead of costly clubs and balls. Disc Golf is established all over the world. Look for it in your local parks."

About The WDGA Administrator:
Hello new members. Welcome. I am Cheryl Eldridge. I am a female disc golfer from Georgia. I am married with 3 children. My average score is 70 on an 18 hole course. I started the 'Women's Disc Golf Association' so female disc golfers from all over the 'World' could come together in unity at one specific domain to discuss our sport of disc golf among one another. I really hope you find it interesting and fun. I am glad you are here. Please join the WDGA if you haven't already and post your member information on our message board.
