New, 18 hole course at the south end of Carey Park on Hutchinson's south side. Nice new concrete tee pads. Alternate pin placements in the planning. Enter Carey via South Main Street on the North and follow the roadway to the south end of the park. Then, come back north on the east side about 100 yds to the parking lot. OR From Big M Truck stop at US 50 & K 61 highways, go north about 100 yds on K 61 to Blanchard Street and turn left. Go approximately 1 1/4 miles and turn left -- just east of the Municipal (ball) Golf Course. Follow the roadway to the south end of the park. We have two league play days: Saturday, at 10:00 AM for Draw Doubles, and Tuesday, 6:00 PM for Handicap Singles. You do not need to be a member to play, and we don't require payment to play along. But, if you want to participate in our singles competition and our ACE Fund, you must first establish a handicap, and pay the competition fees. That is done on your first singles night. Our ACE Pot is a 75/25 split, with $100 minimum payout for members. Non-members may win no more than $50 for League Play aces. SCDGA Membership is $15.00 per year (Jan 1 to Dec 31 -- not prorated), and you get a club disk for joining. Those joining in the LAST quarter of the year are carried as members through the next membership year. (No web page currently, but we are planning one.)
