The Central Florida Disc Golf Club (CFDGC) evolved from the Shaggy Doo Disc Golf Club in the year 2000.

After many years of growing pains we are pleased to call Bill Frederick Park At Turkey Lake home. With many thanks to the management team and all the staff members at Bill Frederick Park for their efforts in helping with all the improvements done to the original course, the installation of the T-2 course, and for welcoming us to into their park. The past four years have been challenging yet rewarding for us all.

We have worked diligently to bring to the sport of disc golf two courses that offer both the amateur and the pro the opportunity to enhance their disc golf skills and still present them with a challenge.

The CFDGC hosts handicaps every Saturday at 10:30 AM and costs $5/person ($3/payout, $1/CTP, $1 Ace Fund). You only need one round to establish a handicap score. Handicap averages cap at -24 strokes. Ace Fund caps at $500 then rolls over to start next fund. We pay out 1 place for every three players and have 1 CTP for every 15 players. If you are running a little late that’s okay. Just give us a call and let us know your timing, if we can wait for you, we will. Players arriving late are encouraged to donate $1 to the Orlando Open Food Fund.

In October we are pleased to present the Orlando Open as part of the Fabulous Florida Tour. This event is a PDGA Sanctioned event. Entry Forms may be obtained at www.FabFlaTour.org. Click on schedule then scroll down to Orlando Open. This event will always be the weekend before October 29th.
