The course is located in Dallas City, Illinois, at the elementary school. Our course currently has 9 baskets in place. We currently are the only elementary school in Illinois that has a disc golf course on it's grounds. It is used for the school's Physical Education classes and for the community. By having it here, it enables the community to learn the benefits of disc golf.
Goal
To provide the students and the community the knowledge of disc golf and to show them that it is an activity that can be done by all people. A person does not have to be the fastest, tallest or stongest to compete in the activity. Disc golf enables a person to compete in an activity that is beneficial to their health and is a life long activity that they can do later on in life.
