Re: Favorite Putter - 2004/07/01 19:42My favorite putter is the aviar (putt and approach). I just bought it and i am on fire with it. I played today and I never 2 putted from within 50 feet. I made a 50 footer and also a 35 footer. I really like it.

Re: Favorite Putter - 2004/07/02 11:05my fav putter would have to be the aviar as well, I carry 3 in my bag. I have an KC Aviar P&A for the longer putts and for windy situations. And I have a regualr Aviar P&A for anything under 30 feet. It is super soft so it really doesn't have any distance but it has a very reliable flight pattern.

Re:Favorite Putter - 2004/12/18 12:53After buying both Aviars and Rhynos, I chose to go with the Rhyno.
As they are pretty much similar in flight, it came down to feel, and the Thumbtrac does it for me. I have developed a really good feel and grip that works well for me. The consistancy of thumb placement is key, and the Rhyno delivers.
Its not going to be for everyone, but its working for me.

Re:Favorite Putter - 2005/01/02 21:51I've been throwing the dx rhyno since I started and continue to use it on those escpecially tough approaches, but recently I began using an orange SE Rhyno. The feel of the plastic is grippy and I love the way it flys. Looking to upgrade to a proline rhyno in the near future.

Re:Favorite Putter - 2005/01/04 19:59I have been playing for almost a year and half now. I bought a 180 gram Innova Aero. I used to not be able to hit anything outside of 20ft. I have consistantly hit 30-40 foot putts. I even pulled about a 55 foot put in orangeburg, the one thats out in teh open on the raised island. It has just the sweetest most predictable slight break to the left, and i can just drop them in almost now. I get picked on by my freinds cause they read that its great for beginners, but when i beat them consistantly by 4-5 "strokes," the picking stops and they shut up.
