best side arm driver - 2004/07/16 10:47i was wondering what u guys think is the best side arm driver. I have a banshee, and a champion firebird. I was thinking of getting another or a fairway driver. and i was wondering what u think could do good. I dont have much power so i need something that would fly far also.

Re: best side arm driver - 2004/07/16 14:11The new Innova ORC is great, it has become my main sidearm driver. Mine is 172g.

Re: best side arm driver - 2004/07/16 14:13The orc is fast and it can handle quite a lot of spin without turning over. It gives me a good s-curve.

Re: best side arm driver - 2004/07/18 07:23Try a Monster. If you can get your hands on an old Pro Line they have a better grip than the new Champion plastic.
They are very overstable and very fast (speed 10)!
I started side-arming the Banshee, then the Firebird and now the Monster. I haven't taken the Monster out of my bag since.

Re: best side arm driver - 2004/07/22 17:53I agree with the Orc as a great sidearm driver. Another great disc to use for sidearm is the Innova Beast although it takes a little getting used to. I use an Eagle (170g) and a Valk (171) and they seem to work welll also.

Re: best side arm driver - 2004/07/23 19:49I primarily throw sidearm. I like to use Eagles, Teebirds and Valks. I'll throw a Banshee if it is windy.
