I just got a Z Flash and it added about 20 feet but still a 350 foot hole seems like an impossible 2. I just started last summer FYI.

Re: Your Longest Driver - 2004/06/15 18:46Anthony, I've been playing for about 3 years now and I max out at around 400'. If you can get it around 400', you should be able to go pretty far with your game. Distance means nothing though if you aren't consistant and don't have control. What sets the pros a head of me that I play with in leagues is their consistancy, not their distance. I can drive as far as most of them can, I just can't throw it right the basket every time.
Your technique will improve over time, so don't focus on distance so much. Focus on getting really good at putting and being accurate with your drives. That is more important.

I'm in the same boat as you, my best drives right now are coming with my 156g dx beast and my 167g Champion Valkyre. I'm barely breaking 300' on a good drive. The thing is I can throw my side arm nearly just as far, about 290' using more overstable discs like my 167g Champion Orc. I figure I should be able to get an extra 30-50 feet on my backhand drive, guess it will just take time and practice.!
