New Discraft Flash - 2004/05/04 13:24I had heard about this new disc from Discraft that resembles an Innova Orc, but today is the first time I saw one for sale. The First Run Discraft Flash is being sold on e-bay for about $15 plus tax. None of the online sites have it yet and even the discraft site doesn't have any information about it.
Does anyone know much about it?
When someone throws one, how is it?

Re: New Discraft Flash - 2004/05/04 17:37I got one a few days ago from a local guy who sells discs. It weighs 174 grams. It is pretty fast but not too stable. It definately is not as stable as an Orc and is NOTHING like it. It has a hell of a lot of glide. I haven't really thrown it much yet. It is about as stable as a Wildcat. I haven't really tried for distance yet because I haven't got to a long course with it yet. It is very fast though and I am sure it will fly very far.

Re: New Discraft Flash - 2004/05/07 09:48I don't like this disc that much after throwing it more. It is fast and everything, but it is just too understable for me. I don't like a disc that is easy to turn over. It's not as bad as a Valkyrie, but it just isn't stable enough. It flies good with no wind or a tailwind, but into a headwind, left to right wind, or swirling wind (which is usually the case in Wisconsin) it will just keep turning and turning. I definately like my Crush and Orc a lot better. I'll probably adjust to it though and be back here in a month telling you about how much I love it after a few nice drives.

Re: New Discraft Flash - 2004/05/14 08:48There are several sites that have it in stock. It is basically a Crush that is less stable, almost resembling a Wildcat, stabilitywise.
I haven't really thrown it much, but I like it.

Re: New Discraft Flash - 2004/05/14 09:27Its stability is similiar to a Z Wildcat. Z wildcats are a lot more understable than X Wildcats are though. Don't ask me why?
