Wheeled carts/bags? - 2004/03/24 21:04 I'm probably going to buy my first disc bag pretty soon and I'm interested in checking out cart-style bags that roll on the ground (I have back and shoulder problems, so I think that would be helpful for me in the long run). But I'll be damned if I can find any mention of them anywhere on the web. I see them all over the place on some courses - where are people getting them?

Re: Wheeled carts/bags? - 2004/03/25 20:15 I made my own from a ball golf cart. First I cut a piece of plywood to the size of the back of the basket for backing. I attatched the basket to the plywood and then the plywood to the cart. It has held up pretty well too.

On another note. I have back trouble too. I have found that using Quad Shocks on by bag when I don't use the cart (the cart is not good on hilly courses) has helped a lot. If you are going to go this route make sure you get Quad Shocks not the cheaper Golf Strap. Quad Shocks are much more comfortable and the straps don't get tangled up.

Re: Wheeled carts/bags? - 2004/03/25 22:04 Yeah, I'm getting the feeling that a lot of people are doing that. I don't have enough discs yet to go to that much trouble, but I'll keep it in mind. I was hoping I could find a carry-able bag that has wheels and a pop-up handle, but that's probably asking for too much. Thanks for the tips though.

Re: Wheeled carts/bags? - 2004/03/26 17:20 There is someone making them. Basically a Igloo cooler with wheels and a long handle. I believe they cost about $125. I am not sure who makes them though.

Re: Wheeled carts/bags? - 2004/03/27 17:05 I used to pull a wagon around. Me and whoever else was along could bring all the discs we wanted, plust some food and beverages.
