Re:the new disccraft surge - 2006/07/26 21:43It's a decent disc, not a top choice for myself but still ok. Reminded me of a Crush meets an Avenger when I threw it sidearm. Worth buying? Thats a personal opinion, if you like the Crush or Avenger then yes it's worth buying. If you do buy it though grab the ESP version, the plastic is more durable and grippy then the Elite -Z.No Low Putts!!

Re:the new disccraft surge - 2006/08/15 16:09I just picked up an ESP Surge. I normally throw a Star wraith for distance throws and played a round using the surge instead. I really like it. It's a little more stable than a wraith and definitely held a better line into the wind. If you prefere throwing Discraft (I have no preference) then this is probably the fastest disc available from them that isn't super overstable (flick).

i agree. it is like the crush meets the avenger. and the esp plastic is definately a must.
