Have You tried the best portable basket ever ? - 2006/07/25 15:00 DGA is finalizing improvements on our next run of DGA Mach Lite baskets. Making the the perfect portable basket is a constant work in progress. We are looking for imput from players around the country that have used our Mach Lite. Please reply to this post and let us know how we can improve any elements of the Mach Lite.

We have already changed the bottom base so that it eliminates the slight wobble from our first runs. Although some of us feel that the wobble actually helps the catching ability so it will be interesting to test 1st runs vs 2nd runs. We also made the rivets on the legs a little tighter so the legs stay in place better when picking up and moving short distances.

Other than that we are looking for your suggestions on mechanical improvements, cosmetic improvements, color ideas, price point, and any great stories you would like to share about interesting places you have brought the Mach Lite. If you have any pictures of the Mach Lite that we might be able to use, we would be willing to trade for the rights to use them.

Thanks for helping make the best portable basket on the market even better!

Re:Have You tried the best portable basket ever ? - 2006/08/15 10:47 the mach lite is great. i have a first run, and i love it. besides the things you said you fixed, like the wobble, and the rivets, everything else is great on it. it has a nice catching area. even if you are practicing long approach shots with it. if you make it in, it doesnt wobble that much. it acts just like a permanent basket. it doesnt weigh too much. i take it with me to any tournaments i go to, or anywhere i go camping. you can bring this baby anywhere. if all the baskets are being used for practice at a tournament and you need some alone time for putting, just take the mach lite out of you trunk and in about a minute you have a basket ready to take putting practice. the only thing i would change with it is the carrying case. maybe put a little padding on the strap. it starts to dig into your shoulder if you have to carry it for a distace.
