Innova Wraith - 2005/08/21 03:50Alright everyone Innova has a new disc out. Its supposed to be the most durable disc ever made in pro plastic (currently only in pro) and also is innovas fastest driver yet, they gave it a speed rating of 11! Im geussing its ratheroverstable (0 high speed turn +3 fade, compared to their most over stable driver 0 high speed turn and +5 fade of the firebird)
This might be a first, is innova trying to compete with discraft? Discraft just came out with the flick, an extreamly fast driver without being extreamly overstable (as discs comparable with its speed usually are gateway speed demon or spirit for example). Usually the way it goes is Innova comes out with a disc and Discraft tries to match it, beast-flash orc-crush starfire-avenger.
All i really want to know is how does the wraith fly, i want to get my hands on one asap. (i just lost my flick today and would like to try the wraith before I just buy another flick, i liked the flick, but felt it could be better...)

Re:Innova Wraith - 2006/03/29 05:44i have a wraith pro line its a very long range drive, but you gotta throw it flat and hard and it will go. i almost got 500 ft out of it about 15 ft short of the basket easyily i best throw ever.but over all i still love my starfire

Re:Innova Wraith - 2006/05/12 18:02I got my hands on a few of the cfr wraits. I like them better than the pro and even the star wraiths. The cfr gets alot more distance on the skip.

Re:Innova Wraith - 2006/05/16 08:40the star wraith is one of my favorite over-stable drivers. if you give it enough spin, then it can hold a line pretty well. you guys should try the star teerex if you like the waith.

Re:Innova Wraith - 2006/07/18 19:29I loved the STAR Wraith when it came out, I can easily throw 350'-400' sidearm drives with it. The only thing I don't like is the skip at end. STAR plastic is nice, and extremely durable but it does'nt like to sit and stay where it lands. I think I'll stick to my DX Roc, I can only hit 350' max with a roc, but thats better then skipping into OB.No Low Putts!!
