Re: Newest Game Ace - 2005/05/31 12:43Just had my first ace of my career yesterday at Grignon in Kaukauna. I actually had to check the rules on PDGA.com to make sure it counted! I threw a Discraft XL through the basket (it stuck in the side over halfway through) from the short tees on hole 11 (the one that runs next to the used car lot). Love that course. Now I'm going to have to move back to the long tees...

Re:Newest Game Ace - 2005/07/05 07:06i know its an old topic, but i nailed my first ace about two weeks ago a 315' straight shot with a pine tree right in front of the basket, threw my flash straight to the right of the tree, just let the fade kick it back in toward the basket, i was scared when i heard it hit the chains i didnt believe it until i walked to the basket and saw it landing there, i screwed up my next couple drives because i was honestly giddy...

Re:Newest Game Ace - 2006/12/11 19:56 My first(and only so far) ace was awesome! It was at a Homegrown tourney. This was my first time playing this course. I met up with a buddy of mine who knew the course and we wanted to get a few holes before it started. Hole #1 starts in the side yard of this house goes around the back corner. It's a anhyzer shot about 240'. Can't see the basket from the tee. My buddy basically says " see that big oak, it's about 40' in to the right." I step up to the teepad and let it go. "Looks pretty good" my friend says. Then silence as my disc disappears to the back yard............. CHING!! Recap....I had never seen the basket, it was my first throw ever on that course, and got my first ace! Pretty awesome stuff!!

Re:Newest Game Ace - 2008/05/08 08:395/6/08- on about a 240 or 250 foot hole i had a near ace with my champion eagle where the disc hit the inside post but bounced back out. My closest throw to an ace in my two years of discgolf.
5/7/08- I threw my hydra on the last hole, down hill about 160 or 180. when i let it rip i thought i had thrown it "too straight" and that the disc was probably going to fade before the hole. BUT the disc did not fade at all and decended down the hill with absolutely no fade straight into the hole. FIRST ACE! short hole, but it counts.
