Re: Luedtke - 2004/01/20 07:05Thats cool. I think you are confused though. To turn pro, you have to compete in the pro open division of a PDGA event and place high. Or you might even have to win to actually become a pro. I don't even know why they would sell you a pro membership. When I get one it is going to be an am one because thats what I am. I am a long way away from becoming a pro.

Re: Luedtke - 2004/01/20 09:44Yeah I really had no clue what to do so I( emailed them and asked if I could have AM. Plus it is cheaper which is cool. Plus when do you want to sign up for the tournament???

Re: Luedtke - 2004/01/20 16:28To answer your questions about turning Pro. Anybody can sign up as Pro/Open with the PDGA and yes it costs more, but until you actually win some cash in a PDGA sanctioned tournament it's not official. You can even renew as an AM if you've never cashed playing Pro. So, it's up to you, but it sounds like to me, you shouldn't be signing up for PRO quite yet

Re: Luedtke - 2004/01/20 16:48I think we can sign up on the day of the tourney. I highly doubt it will be full and we won't be able to get a spot. There will be a players meeting at the village green golf course here in Green Bay on the morning of the tourney at 8:00AM. Otherwise, I will look for a reg. form to print off so we can pre-register. I'll get on that.

Re: Luedtke - 2004/01/21 15:00You might want to pre register just in case there is a late fee but if you dont want to its not a big deal. We have to figure out every thing so tell me what time i should come over on the seventh.
