How long have you played the game? - 2004/10/04 15:48My brother and I took a liking to the Frisbee back in the mid 60's. Around that time we made up games to play . One of them was Frisbee Golf . Thats what we named it. We had 9 holes that we would throw to and keep score like golf. The holes were A street sign, Telephone pole, Fire Hydrant, etc .... I don't know how long this Disc game has been around But I bet we were some of the first to play it. If you have any info about when and who invented the game please let me know Jack Merryweather

Re: How long have you played the game? - 2004/10/07 13:54Steady Ed Headrick invented the modern game as we know it in the 70's, I believe. The basis of the game might have been around before that, but there weren't any real courses or baskets. He was the inventor of the "pole hole".
I started playing in 2001.
