Longest Hole You've Deuced - 2004/05/07 11:40I don't think this topic has been covered yet. So what's the longest hole you deuced? Please leave out holes that are straight downhill that play a couple hundred feet less then they actually are. I guess for me, the longest hole I've deuced is hole 7 at Plamann Park in Appleton, WI. It is 400' and I have parked it within 10 feet about 3 times. I have deuced it 5 times now. Nothing special I guess. I came close to deucing Hole 1 there last night (463', plays like 430-440'). Came up only 30' short and missed the putt by inches. I'm sure I'll deuce it by the end of the summer if i play there enough.

Re: Longest Hole You've Deuced - 2004/05/07 13:35Not sure about the longest, but the most difficult is hole 13 at Turkey Creek in Coralville, IA. Ok, didn't actually duece it, but its a 250 ft hole or so with a varying 10-15ish ft wide fairway to deal with, trees all around. got lucky one time and threw it within about 15'. Then I must have been celebrating already, cuz I frickin shanked the putt and hit the lower part of the basket! Blast!

Re: Longest Hole You've Deuced - 2004/05/07 20:15i dont if it was the longest hole i ever dueced, but today at the masters cup in de la veaga, santa cruz i shanked my drive on hole #9 about 60 feet in front of me.i took my firebird out for about a 150 foot shot,around some trees and skipped in for the bird!!!!

playin at the easley disc golf club course or something like that. on the first hole i tossed a decent straight drive that unfortunately hit a tree real solid and came straight back at me. landed about 45 feet and to the left a little in front of me. i had another 200-225 feet to go and up a nice hill another 25 ft
walked up to it and got a bunch of junk talked to me by the guys i was playin with, ha ha, specifically, i got called a 'sally'. i picked up my sniper and hucked the junk out of it with a nice O-I backhand. went thru a stand of poplars and up the hill 25 vertical feet and, i'm not sure about this, but is the terminology 'ching'?

Re: Longest Hole You've Deuced - 2004/08/27 05:244th at WhittleSea (Vic, Aus) ~800' Elevated tee to flat fairway, water on left. Nice drive @ ~500' Pulled out a Gremlin, faded it in, hit foliage above the basket & dropped straight in. Was during a practice round, but I'll take it!

Re: Longest Hole You've Deuced - 2004/09/02 06:44Last night I was able to duce hole 8 of the Edina, MN course, which is a 400' hole with a gradul downhill slope that drops maybe 10' total and is covered in mature trees. I've been trying to duce this hole since I started in April and finally got a good enough drive to give me a drop-in putt. I've choked on a few 20' putts but didn't leave a whole lot of chance for messing up this time.
