Re: Newest Game Ace - 2004/06/29 06:55Here is a moment for a happy hour!... I hit my first Ace on a 216' shot at Cedar Hills... I was amazed, I think my working out at the gym is really paying off! But it was just amazing, a down the hill shot, it did a weird curve up in the air, went in between some trees which I thought it was gonna smash it... next thing I hear is the "Chin chin" of the chains... Of course I started running down that hill like the devil himself was chasing me... and sure enough, the sound of the chains was when it caught my disc... of course my friend who taught me the game was pissed because he never gotten one... and I've only being playing for 3 weeks now... and VIOLAH!...
That same game I had two dueces!!!... which made my score pretty good... I got a 27 and ended with a 58 score. and a -9. Which brings me to a question, I'm still a little confused on how to keep the scores on this game.... anyone has any easy suggestions or quick training on how to actually keep scores on the game, do you do it like regular golf?...

We just consider everything a par 3 no matter what the signs say and keep score just like golf.

Re: Newest Game Ace - 2004/06/29 15:011 ace and about 5 near aces. My ace came last september @ Acorn park here in MN on hole #1 long tee (270ft I think). Perfect throw, no luck bounce or kick of a tree right in the middle of the chains. My biggest disapointment of a near ace was at Hansen park on hole #4 normaly 250ft from long tee, but I moved back about 30ft more just for kicks. This course has a cone basket on this hole. I threw an anhyzer shot from the walking path around a lamp post and BAM right it went right in where chains normaly would be and bounced off the bottom of the basket and out on to the ground where it rolled down a hill about 20ft . The one ace I do have makes up for it completely though.
