Playing Disc Golf with arthritis? - 2007/09/11 08:56
My wife and I just started playing disc golf the 1st. of Sept., I have Long Term Reiter's Syndrome, it's a fairly odd arthritis problem as it effects the "tendons and ligaments" around the joints of the body.
It's effecting my right shoulder and arm/elbow, which is what I use to throw with, using a right hand backhand grip. Due to this I don't have the "power" in my snap or follow thru that most folks have. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the my distance driver go further using less power??
Can't throw sidearm as it causes a good rush of pain, so I thought I'd ask for opinions, comments, suggestions from you long time players, thanks!
