Courses on the College Campus - 2005/05/05 22:00I am a college student and the best thing happened here this year (my first year) they installed a fairly diverse disc golf course on our campus. I was really just posting to aks the question, how common is it for courses to be built on campus? i know many courses are built near campuses across the country (disc golf is perfect for us kids living on scraps). Anyone know of any others, or am i just that damn lucky?

Re:Courses on the College Campus - 2005/05/07 23:56I know of at least 4 college campuses in Wisconsin that have disc golf courses on the campus. It is also fairly common for high schools and middle schools to have disc golf courses locoated on their property.

Re:Courses on the College Campus - 2005/06/19 04:10we have an 18 hole on Texas State Univ - San Marcos, but I have not played it yet... just trying to get into the game and play the courses around San Antonio and Austin... I'm definitly not any good yet though

Re:Courses on the College Campus - 2005/06/21 22:22Actually, here in Australia most University Ultimate teams set up object courses on campuses. Some are not too good, but when you get a few disc golfers on there and get some portable baskets, it can be a lot of fun.
We just had a tournament at Macquarie University in Sydney and it was tons of fun, I hadnt played a tournament in a really long time and I could not believe how much I missed them. Next one is in about a month, cant wait
