Each May is an exciting time around Santa Cruz, CA. Now in it’s 27th year, the Masters Cup has been a staple of both the NorCal Series and PDGA National Tour due to the course’s beauty, location, and challenge. Generally, when a player participates in this event once, they’ll be back every year.
This year’s amateur event was held this past weekend May 4 – 6th. Known for large players packages, this year’s amateur players are receiving full color dyed Aftershocks or Undertows with the above picture of Steady Ed. They will also receive full color mini discs with the same logo, among other items.
The Professional NT event will be held May 18 – 20th, with top pros from around the world converging at “DeLa” to take a crack at conquering this sometimes unforgiving course.
DGA is proud to have been associated with this event for many years now. We are honored to have our founder and “Father of Disc Golf’s” name attached to this event. Ed loved DeLa, and the Santa Cruz disc golf community, and eventually made this area his home. We know he will be watching and cheering the players on from above.
